Access
Access is by Forest Service RD 765 and is 2WD passable. From the claim you have easy access to the town of Pitkin, Cumberland Pass, and the Town of Tincup.
Hydrodynamics
The stream is narrow and fast flowing. Average width 10 to 20 feet, with rounded river rock and a few larger boulders found on the claim. The west side of the claim has numerous beached gravel bars that are located right on the Country rock.
Dredging Information
In addition, on the east side of the claim near the camping area beavers have built numerous ponds adjacent to the following stream. This is a great starting point for any type of floating gold mining equipment such as a suction dredge as the water is deep and allows ample room for discharge of overburden material.
