The creek is narrow with large boulders strewn throughout the claim. On the east side of the claim there are beached dry gravel bars that consists of gold bearing material that gets washed and moved with every major rain. This claim can be easily panned, sluiced, dry washed or creviced.
There is a free camping area outfitted with restrooms, bear proof trash containers, picnic tables, and fire rings located under old growth pine trees creek side. A very tranquil and beautiful spot. The claim is located less than 100' from the camping area.
