Overview:

The Gold Connection mine sits on a large outcrop of quartz and gold bearing rock that spans the claim.  A well designed portal is conveniently cut directly into the ore body. Visible gold can be seen within small bands of quartz veins surrounding the portal and underground into the mine.  Workings are reported to be 280' in length.

There is a large tailings pile with easy 2WD access from the historically rich mining town of Chloride.

Ore Emplacement:

Mineralized solutions rose along faults and localized in fractures with a thickness of 1.22 meters with a pinch and swell form on a 75 to 80 SW dip.  One high grade ore shoot had a reported length of 40' along the vein.

Access:

The claim is easy to access with a road running right thru the claim and is located approximately 1 mile from the town of Chloride, New Mexico.

Visible gold can be seen within small bands of quartz veins surrounding the portal and underground into the mine.  Workings are reported to be 280' in length and an additional 95' shaft mine.  

History:

Formerly the Nana Mine and part of the Wall St. Mine group; now called the Gold Connection Mine.  This mine was left untouched since the war effort of WW2 that stifled all mining in this district.  This claim is a great starting mine for individuals wanting to own their own underground hard rock mine.
