Overview
Featuring both a 20.66 Acre Lode Hardrock Mining Claim and a 20.00 Acre Placer Mining Claim the Renner Spring Claims are unique and rare for Yavapai County.  Having both claims contiguous gives the buyer the best of both worlds.  Not only can you work the hard rock but also the Placer as well that had water present at the time of survey.

Placer Claim
The Renner Spring Placer Claim portion featuring extremely jagged and chunky bedrock with many cracks running in vertical and perpendicular directions.  Additionally, small quartz veins run perpendicular thru the bedrock across the creek bed as an additional gold depositional source.

This claim is perfect to sluice, drywash, or metal detected.  Out of the main bedrock channel there are numerous beached gravel bars corners, and dry back eddies that are perfect for nugget hunting with metal detectors and dry washing the finer gravels.  The main bedrock channel would make for a unique combination of gold recovery with both crevicing and metal detecting being perfect options.

Lode Claim
The Renner Spring Lode claim features two adits that are partially collapsed at the surface. These adits were responsible for following the in-situ vein structure into the mountain containing primarily
Gold & Silver.

Access
Access to the Renner Spring Lode & Placer claim is via Forest Service RD 602 which runs directly thru the claim.  The claim can be a accessed from West or the East with a standard 4WD pickup truck or ATV.

Camping
Camping is allowed on the claim for up to 14 days at a time without a permit.
