Overview

Overview

Located in a prime gold bearing trend the Goodman 001 Lode Claim features one main shaft and numerous surface dozer cuts.  The claim has good access via dirt BLM road and is located SE of Quartzsite Arizona.  This claim is ideal for a small operation that is primarily after gold.  Silver, Copper, and Iron are some of the secondary metals associated with this deposit.

The claim features one main shaft with an approximate depth of 50' and one adit that has a total length of development of approximately 60'.  Additionally, there are multiple open cut prospect pits and trenches.  The deposit is extremely mineralized and show phenomenal surface expression of the vein structures.  It is very apparent that this mine was operated by a small company or family unit as a weekend project and not a full blown large scale mining operation.

The general area is known for both lode and placer claims and has numerous mines within a two mile radius that tap into the main strike of the vein found on the Goodman Claim.

It is clear that this mine was producing minerlized commercial ore on the surface with such a large amount of trenching and pitting.  The adit and shaft were cut into the country rock just feet from the main vein structure.  This bodes well for future owners of this mine as both the adit and shaft can be revamped into workable condition while surface excavator scraping and trenching can be completed.

This claim is ideal for a serious small miner with of 700' of known mineralized vein structure to work in length that dips steeply.

Secondary supporting smaller vein structures are likely to be encountered due to the sheer amount of enrichment and geologic activity observed onsite.
