Overview
Located deep within the Carson National Forest the Kyanite Outcrop 003/004 lodes represents a continuous claim package covering a well documentented multi mineral deposit. This deposit has sat barren from commercial mining activity since 1943.
This 41.32 acre claim package is ideal for a serious recreational prospector with outcrops of mineralized rock spread across the claim in different lenses rather than one solid vein system.
The terrain, while mild compared to high altitude Colorado claims, does have short and steep elevation gain / loss once off of the access road.
The benefit to prospecting in New Mexico is of course the mining friendly regulations and relatively cool summer mining season. The length of mining season is approximately 7 months without contending with major mud / snow issues.
