Overview
20 acres of Vine Creek Placer with walk in access only!
Located just off of highway 93 on a secluded spur road the Vine Creek 003 Placers represents a remote mining claim on an underdeveloped gold bearing placer creek.
This claim is the closest to the source of the alluvial mineralization.  However, there is a closed Forest Service gate 0.80 miles from the claim discovery point between the claim and the camping area.  Consequently, this claim has walk in access only on the closed Forest Service road.
Consistent water flow from Vine Creek and low amounts of overburden have created the perfect storm for gold bearing alluvial gravels. This creek tested excellent with a traditional gravity drop riffle river sluice.  The claims produced fine to flake style gold with the predominant gold size being fairly fine.
While it's always an option to scale up a claim with proper permits and mine with a dredge or mechanized equipment, this claim package in particular can be worked with more recreational tools and still find gold values.
