Overview
The remote yet accessible Spar Au 002 Placer claim covers 20.00 acres below the confluence of Brewster Creek and the North Fork of Brewster Creek.  Both of these creeks are gold bearing with numerous gold bearing veins & mines located upstream known as the Alps District being the main source of the placer gold found on this claim.

The claim is located a few miles from Quigley Montana and has single track dirt road access the last 3.00 miles up to the claim.  

​

The creek itself ranges from 3-6 feet wide and a few inches to approximately 1 foot in water depth.  Overburden is approximately 1 to 1.5 feet thick on most places.  Fine alluvial cobbles are laid overtop of large boulders located within the deeper sedimentation layers.

​

This claim is ideal for recreational miners and more serious small dredge operations with proper permitting.  Testing of the claim was completed via gravity fed drop riffle river sluice.

Camping

Dispersed Camping is allowed on this claim.  There is one great campsite located right on the claim that has ample room for numerous vehicles and is surrounded by large trees with both creeks being close by.

Access

Standard pickup trucks / SUV's will have no issue accessing this claim.  The road is dirt two track from the town of Quigley Montana and is 3.25 miles in length up to the claim from Quigley.  The road is in good condition but the area is very overgrown so pinstriping of full sized vehicles is absolutely going to happen. 

 

From the highway 90 South to Quigley the road is fully paved.
